Melissa Gallagher
Owner and Trainer of
Collective Roots Dressage
Melissa began riding at the age of 5 and had a passion for horses that has driven her ever since. She has dedicated her life’s work to breeding and training Dressage horses as well as helping students fulfill their dreams. She believes in an individual plan for success in every combination and uses positive reinforcement, natural horsemanship influences as well as classical and modern exercises to bring out the best in every pair. Melissa believes that these horses come to work for us every day and we should appreciate their hard work, respect them and in doing so they give us their all. That is when the brilliance truly shines through. She trains horse and rider from the ground up, focusing on correct basics in balancing and suppling to be successful through the levels.
